I wore this ensemb last Friday and I must admit it’s one of my FAVORITE looks I’ve put together thus far. Believe it or not, I purchased this uber cute tunic top at my place of employment: USAA. We have what is known as “The Company Store” where employees and visitors can purchase everything from clothes, cards, candles and more. Back to the entire ensemb. In case you’re wondering why in the world I would pair navy blue, white and red at any point before July it was my way of paying homage to all of our American athletes competing in the Winter Olympics. Okay, I didn’t come up with this concept all on my own. USAA encouraged their employees to wear this particular color combo for the aforementioned reason. Aside from honoring our athletes, I think the best part of this outfit was the following compliment I received from one of the executives in my department: “I LOVE your outfit! You look like a modern Audrey Hepburn.” EEP! Talk about exciting! (1) Navy blue print tunic top $25.99 (The USAA Company Store) | (2) Red slim ankle pants $18.99-clearance (J.Crew) | (3) Gold ballet flats $22.94 (Old Navy) | (4) Gold post earrings $5.99 (Versona Accessories) | (5) Gold cocktail ring $6.48-clearance (Francesca’s) | (6) White and gold statement necklace $13 (Charming Charlie)
TOTAL OUTFIT COST = $93.39*
*All of the items featured were already in my closet (with the exception of the tunic top) and under $50 for each piece.
